And at the heart of a California Faucets shower is StyleTherm®, a revolutionary approach to the thermostatic shower valve. The thermostatic is offered as a 3/4" control which requires separate stop controls (volume controls). With their StyleTherm thermostatic the connections are 1/2" with choice of integral diverter or volume controls. Look for CALGreen for water conservation selections. All faucets and accessories are available in 26 artisan finishes, including 12 PVD finishes, the most durable finish available.

Montecito 1/2" StyleTherm Thermostatic Shower

1/2" StyleTherms come in two parts: trim & valve
The trim is the pretty we see in the shower. The valve is what turns on the water and where that water comes out. A function (or outlet) is an item the water comes out. For example 2 functions could be shower head and hand shower & three function could be for a tub & shower: shower head, a tub spout and a hand shower. A diverter will divert the water flow from one function to another. Volume controls the water volume of one function. 1/2" StyleTherm trim will come with integrated 1 or 2 volume controls. And each one of these will have the option of two different valves. You will also find a 3/4" StyleTherm with separate volume controls.

The thermostatic control (above) sets the temperature, a stop valve (volume control) is need to turn the water on & control the water volume. One stop valve is needed for each function, or a combination of stop and diverter. Stop valves are also available in 1/2" and 3/4". Diverters are offered in Non-shared and Swivel Port.
