The Right Generator Size
To achieve the optimum steam experience, each space requires a different amount of steam. Use the generator sizing steps below to determine the correct steam generator size for your shower.
1) Measure length, width and height of the steam enclosure (in feet).
Length × Width × Height = Room Volume
2) Select your construction materials.
For ceramic or porcelain tile on cement board or mortar bed: no adjustment.
For natural stones (natural marble, stone, shale, glass block or concrete): multiply room volume by 1.5.
For acrylic: multiply room volume by 0.6.
3) Room Volume
For rooms 8 feet high or less: no adjustment.
For ceilings higher than 8ft to 9ft multiply adjusted room volume by 1.15.
For ceilings higher than 9ft to 10ft max multiply adjusted room volume by 1.3.
