Whirlpool baths provide a high-pressure, aggressive deep tissue and joint massage
Whirlpools are often found in hospitals, athletic training rooms and physical therapy facilities. A whirlpool bath is extremely beneficial in treating muscle sprains, damaged joints, back problems and aches and pains that arise from time to time as we age. Both The New England Journal of Medicine and National Arthritis Foundation have recognized and endorsed the benefits of whirlpool baths (hydrotherapy) in the enhancement of circulation, which is very important to anyone suffering from the affects of arthritis and diabetes. Each WaterTech whirlpool is engineered to insure that jets, pump, piping and suction cover are correctly sized to insure maximum performance.

Whirlpool System Features
• Pulsating Jet

One interchangeable pulsating jet supplied with each whirlpool bathtub. Jet nozzle spins and produces a pulsing action. This type of jet is often placed in the foot or back area. Jet pulsation is adjustable. Interchangeable. Option to add a second one.
• Silent Injector
For maximum hydrotherapy all whirlpool jets need a supply of air. Ideally each jet should receive an equal amount of air. WaterTech is the only manufacturer that installs a silent air injector at each jet. This insures a balanced system and that each jet will produce high pressure hydrotherapy. Silent air valves, located at each jet, provides for quiet operation.
• Power Control
3 Speed control allows simultaneous adjustment of jet massage intensity (high, medium, and low)
• Whirlpool Pump

Pumps are 100% self draining with quick disconnect unions and electrical cord. If a problem ever develops with a pump simply call and a replacement will be shipped at no charge. Each pump carries a Lifetime Warranty. Pump upgrades offered on some models. Custom pump locations available for all models.
WaterTech Whirlpool Options:
Pumps
• Turbo Charge System

The turbo charging system is composed of a single speed, 1 h.p., 675 watt heated air blower, hoses, controls, 8 port manifold and is factory installed. Turbo charging a whirlpool bath system allows jets to provide additional thrust and pressure at each jet. Per pump.
• Low Water Sensor

Great for those families with young ones running around! The low water sensor is a factory installed device that will not let the tub operate unless the water level is at the appropriate level. This is a nice safety precaution to keep young children from turning on the tub while it is empty.
• Custom Pump Location

Place the pump where you want it. All building codes require access to the pump for electrical hook up and servicing. May require additional space.
• 3HP Pump Upgrade
If the model you choose comes standard with a 2 H.P. pump you can upgrade to a 3 H.P. for additional pressure. We recommend upgrading especially when adding additional jets. Each pump carries a Lifetime Warranty.
Jets
• Additional Jets
While WaterTech whirlpools are engineered to provide maximum hydrotherapy, they realize certain individuals may want or need special jet locations to provide them with hydrotherapy to particular body areas such as knees, feet, back, etc. They will customize our whirlpools to meet your individual needs. Their engineering department will review all requests and do all we can to meet your specifications.
• Additional Pulsating Jet
One pulsating jet comes with the whirlpool bath. There is an option of adding a second pulsating jet.
• Jet Finishes

Chrome, nickel and oil-rubbed bronze. Note: White, biscuit and bone jets are standard in all tubs

Works with the whirlpool system. Available for all models. Heater specifications: 1.5KW, 120V, 12.5 A. Requires dedicated GFCI circuit. Drain
• Deep Soak Overflow Drain

The difference between a standard drain and the Deep Soak Drain is that the Deep Soak overflow cover can be rotated to close the overflow if desired. Closing overflow increases the bath water depth from 2" to 5" depending on bath selected.
Caution- The Deep Soak Drain should not be closed until the bather is in the tub and the pump operating to insure that the water level will not overflow the tub. When draining the bath after use it is important to open the Pressflow drain so that the next time the bath is filled it can't overflow accidentally.
• Lift & Turn Drain

Available in chrome, nickel, polished brass and oil-rubbed bronze. Note: PVC drain is 1 1/2" and fits all tubs.
• Cable Drain

The cable drain allows the bather to open and close the drain with a twist of the overflow cover. Eliminates having to reach into the water to drain the tub. Available in chrome, nickel, polished brass and oil-rubbed bronze. Note: PVC drain is 1 1/2" and fits all tubs.
• Linear Drain

This drain features a modern linear overflow. Drain at the bottom of the tub is a toe-tap. Step on it to open or close.
Accessories
• Micro Mount
The micro mount feature not only gives your bathtub a whole new look, but it also provides you easier access upon existing your tub as the deck sits more flush with your surroundings. The Micro Lip option will reduce the height of the tub lip to roughly 3/4" tall. Not available on all tubs.
• LED Light

By simply pressing a button the bather may transition through 8 colors while the last selection will automatically transition through all 8 colors.
• Pillows

Come standard on several models, but are available for all models. Easily removed for cleaning and are available in black & white.
• Acrylic Grab Bars
Field Installed
Acrylic white, biscuit, or bone. Grab handles are not factory installed but are easily installed on the job site by contractor or plumber.
• Ozonator

The ultimate water purification system that automatically neutralizes any bacteria, virus or odor in the water. All Watertech baths are U.L. certified for 100% drainage. This certifies that the water lines on Watertech baths drain 100% insuring that no used bath water remains or is trapped in any of the waterlines. The additional advantage of having an ozonator installed is that the ozone pumped through the system also effectively sanitizes the internal components of pipes, pump, jets, injectors, etc.
