The Hydro Systems Mizu is the evolution of the traditional Japanese soaking tub known as an ofuro. East meets west at the best of both worlds with this round 52" x 52" x 27" solid surface freestanding bath. Steep-sided form has the added benefit of fitting beautifully into small or irregularly shaped places while providing a deep soak for seated bathing. Choose the air system or enjoy this as a soaking tub. The solid surface is strong and non-porous for easy maintenance. The Mizu is a Platinum ADEX Award winning design. ADEX stands for Awards for Design Excellence with Platinum being the highest level achievable.

The Mizu is a space for restoration, meditation and finding your inner zen. Hydro Systems was inspired by the Peace Pagoda located in the heart of San Francisco. Gifted as a token of friendship by the sister city of Osaka, Japan in 1968, the Peace Pagoda is a five-tiered concrete stupa, or Buddhist shrine, meant to inspire peace. The upright design cues of the were taken from this architectural cues.
