Undermount & Drop-in Tubs
Large Selection of Quality Bathtubs
Many tubs are dropped-in to a tub surround. Modern design adds the possibility of undermount installation, keeping the tub appearance as minimal as possible. We carry a large selection of high-quality drop-in & undermount tubs. For ease in shopping, these tubs are divided by shape then by size below. Once the size has been chosen, tubs will be listed by size (smallest to largest). It will also state if the tub is a drop-in, undermount or if both are listed; the tub can be used either way. These tubs are available as soaking tubs or jetted.

Choosing Your 5 Star Bathtub
Both undermount and drop-in tubs can be placed in a niche, corner, along any wall or even in the center of the room. A rectangle drop-in bathtub can even be used to create an alcove tub with the the addition of a flange. See

Add a recirculating pump and heater to a soaking tub for a tub. Then it will not lose water temperature for as long as it is on. Choose air jets for a light skin caress or water jets that provide a deep tissue massage. Micro Bubbles give your skin a real spa treatment. Or have a combination tub that uses multiple systems. So far we have discussed the similarities between the two styles. But you will need to know how the tub is going to be installed before you order it, so let's see the differences. The same tub is pictured for both installation methods.

Undermount
An undermount tub requires a flat rim. The tub rim is under the deck material. Make sure to order as an undermount, so the electronic controls won't interfere with the under mounting.

Drop-in
A deck is created (with an opening in the center) and the bathtub is dropped into the deck. The rim overlaps and rises above the tub deck. Some manufactures offer a low rim option.
