Walk In Tubs from Ella's Bubbles, Jacuzzi, Hydro Systems, Hydro Massage & MTI Provide Accessibility, Safety, Comfort & Hydrotherapy - Now on Sale
Walk In tubs are designed for easy access. Many of these tubs have a chair-height seat and safety features such as anti-slip floors and grab bars. Walk In tubs require a similar amount of space as a traditional bathtub. The front skirt and tile flange allow for an alcove installation.
Features to consider when purchasing a Walk In Bathtub:
Warmth
You will be in the tub as the water fills and empties. Here are some great ways to keep warm while you are waiting:
- A Heat Lamp
over the bath.
- An Amba Towel Warmer will provide a warm towel to cover with.
- Both MTI Walk In & Hydro Systems Life Style offer a heating system for the bath. For MTI it is the Radiance Option and with Hydro Systems it is called Hydro Blanket. They both work like heated floors. For the cost of running a standard light bulb it will keep your bathtub warm and toasty when every you are ready to use it.
Faucets
Some of the walk in tubs have faucets included. Others you can install deck mount or wall mount faucets of your choice
Seat Height
Some of the bathtubs offer a 14" tall seat, others 17". The 17" seat is easier to get in and out of but the 14" seat allows for more water coverage above the seat.
