Teak is one of the world's most valuable hardwoods. Used in shipbuilding for centuries, it contains a natural oil to retard water and keep the wood from warping, cracking or becoming brittle. Teak wood also has the natural ability to ward-off fungi, mold and mildew, making it an ideal choice for the moist, wet environment of the bath room. MTI genuine teak products are manufactured using only 100% U.S.-certified legal, reclaimed, sustainable teak.

Constructed of the finest grades of Genuine Teak (Environmentally Responsible)
Flat slatted teak mat lets water and soap run through, so there is no slippery residue.
Teak has the natural ability to ward off fungi, mold and mildew, unlike conventional shower mats.
Slats are spaced only 1/8" apart to ensure a comfortable, safe surface for feet.
Slats are 1-3/8" wide x 1/2" thick and are permanently joined
to the 3/4" x 3/4" support boards with glue and countersunk marine-grade stainless steel screws.
Underside of supports are padded with gripping rubber.

Teak slats are 1-3/8" wide x 1/2" thick and are joined to the 1-1/4" - square stainless steel frame with countersunk marine-grade stainless steel screws.
All support components are manufactured of 18-gauge stainless steel (wall flanges 10-gauge).
Constant friction wall-mounted bracket guides the “U”-shaped legs freely up and down, resulting in a low-pressure constant spring action to raise and lower the seat.
Seat is automatically held in a raised position by a stainless cross member attached to the front and rear support legs.

The MTI teak shelf is constructed of ½"-thick flat teak slats and stainless steel, providing an ideal surface for holding towels and toiletries. Because teak wood can withstand the moist environment of the shower and the bathroom, this shelf can be used inside or outside the shower area. Measuring 26-1/8" x 10-3/4", the clean, attractive appearance coordinates with other MTI genuine teak products.

Slats are 1-1/2" wide x 1/2" thick and are permanently joined to 2" wide x 1" thick support frame with glue and countersunk marine-grade stainless steel screws. Seat mounts to the wall and can be folded up when not in use. It provides a convenient transfer surface as well as a resting place during hand showering. This seat is available in three sizes, 32", 36" and 42" widths. Teak slats are 1-3/8" wide x 1/2" thick and are joined to the 1-1/4" - square stainless steel frame with countersunk marine-grade stainless steel screws. Seat is automatically held in a raised position by a stainless hinge bracket attached to the end of the tub seat. When the seat is lowered into its down position, the seat must rest securely on the tub flange for support.
