La Torre Warranty & Returns
Claims: All Claims for damages or shortages must be made within 14 days from receipt of goods. Delivery to the carrier constitutes delivery to the customer. Claims for merchandise delivered broken or damages must be filed with the carrier within 7 days. Please inspect immediately and hold all packing materials.
Returns: La Torre will only take back items produced in Chrome or Brushed Nickel for any other reason than product or material defect. All other special order finishes are not returnable unless deemed defective after inspection.
A Returns Good Authorization Number (RGA) must be obtained prior to any products being shipped back to La Torre S.p.A, or agent thereof. Credit or replacement will be allowed if, after inspection on an Authorized Agent of La Torre S.p.A, a defect in workmanship or materials is indicated.
Limited Lifetime Warranty
Residential: For all products installed in a Residential Application (permanent Residence) to the original owner / purchaser, La Torre S.p.A warrants that their products are free from Mechanical defect in materials and workmanship from the original date of purchase.
Finish Warranty: Provides Limited lifetime coverage for Chrome finished products and 3 years for all other finished products with the exception of Tuscan Bronze, Inca Brass and Gold. Inca Brass and Gold carry a 1 year finish warranty. There is NO WARRANTY on TUSCAN BRONZE FINISH. La Torre S.p.A will provide free of charge, at its options, replacement part(s) or product (or a comparable alternative product) to replace those which have proven to be defective in materials and workmanship.
Marine and Outdoor Installations: For all products installed in a marine or outdoor installation La torre S.p.A warrants that their products are free from defect in material and workmanship for a period of 1 year from original date of purchase. In addition, our FINISH WARRANTY is limited to Chrome, for a period of 1 year. All other finishes, other than Chrome, will carry no finish warranty. La Torre S.p.A will provide free of charge, at its options, replacement part(s) or product (or comparable alternative product) to replace those which have proven to be defective in materials and workmanship.
Commercial Installation: For all products installed in a Commercial Installation, La Torre S.p.A warrants that their products are free from defect in material and workmanship for a period of 2 Years from the date of purchase. In addition, our FINISH WARRANTY provides a 2 year finish warranty on Chrome & Nickel Finishes, and no WARRANTY on other finishes offered. La Torre S.p.A will provide free of charge, at its options, replacement part(s) or product (or comparable alternative product) to replace those which have proven to be defective in materials and workmanship.
Warranty Exclusions: Products which result in defect from abuse, misuse, neglect, improper installation and/or maintenance, hard water, proximity to bodies of salt water ( i.e. Marine and Outdoor use) or accidental damage are not covered by any warranty set forth in these Conditions of sales and Limited Lifetime Warranty. The Limited Lifetime Warranty does not apply to the replacement of components where damage is caused by normal wear and tear. La Torre S.p.A does not assume liability for labor charges, removal and re-installation expenses, freight or postage, or any incidental or consequential damages resulting from defective products. In no event will La Torre S.p.A or its representative be liable for labor of any kind, incidental or consequential damages. La Torre does not assume any responsibility other than to repair or replace the defective part(s) after La Torre S.p.A or an officially appointed representative to determine each specific case. La Torre S.p.A reserves the sole rights to determine whether to repair or replace the product or its finish. All La Torre S.p.A warranties are strictly limited to the original consumer/ purchaser of its products.
It is under the sole decision of La Torre S.p.A to honor warranties to products that were purchased from OEM type distributors who carried and issued their own warranty and terms and conditions of sale.
This warranty strictly applies to North America to include the Continental United States, Canada, and Mexico. For areas outside North America, a specific written warranty must be obtained from La Torre S.p.A
